Christmas Eve

Both guys are napping and my stove is going full force. Tortellini soup on one side, breakfast casserole going on the other. Sweet potatoes come next. A rather warm and rainy day for Christmas Eve. This will be the first Christmas Eve I am not spending with my family. Instead, I will be spending the evening with the men in my life. Bringing dinner to my mother-in-law and Ryan's gramma. Should be fun, but still missing my family on this special day.

Lots of visits over the past few days. Spent yesterday with a great friend I haven't seen in a year. Dominic got to meet his buddy Tyson for the first time. The visit made me miss her and her family even more. They live way to far away. sniffle....




Anxious for this evening. I can't wait to get Dominic to bed so I can prepare the house for Christmas morning. I realize this is more for me, then for him. I'm still excited anyway. The aroma of my soup is pulling me back to the kitchen. Love to all on Christmas Eve!
