Cold Winter Night

Wow what a day. After a fun filled day with the husband and son we spent the evening at Gramma's house. While Ryan worked on various fix it projects, I chased Dominic "wild man" around the house. One interesting event of the evening was that we discovered that Dominic looks a lot like Ryan's dad at this age. Ryan's mom dug out childhood pictures of Ryan's dad and it was pretty amazing to see just how much they look alike. Considering that Ryan's dad passed away a long time ago, I find it touching that our son resembles him. I never got to meet him so I'm happy that Dominic carries a part of him with him throughout life. I think it makes Ryan proud too.
